My First BYU Football Game

On Friday December 18th, around lunch time, dad picked me up from school so we could go to Vegas and watch the BYU football game. I jumped in the car and started watching The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. After a hour or so we stopped by Panda Express to get some lunch and go to the bathroom.  I got some orange chicken for lunch.
Once we got back in the car I finished The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. It was great and a little bit scary. After that I watched Shrek. By the time we finished the movies we had got to Nevada. We brought our suitcases in and found our room, 425. Then we headed out to see the fountains.

It was beautiful! Then we got to see the Eiffel tower at the Paris hotel.
I also went to the snacks restaurant and got a big pizza with a berry bowl. It was delicious!
We also went to some other cool places and got some mint gelato. We finished it in seconds! Then we got our car and headed home. When we got back to the hotel I watched part of Miracle on 34 street. A few minutes later (around 10pm) our cousins arrived. It was really late and night and I could not fall asleep, but we finally fell asleep. The next day Sydney, Uncle Jeremy, Dad, and I took Bo on a walk  witch ended up being very cold but was kind of fun and then we came back and watched some movies on T.V. Then Uncle Jeremy, dad, and I got in the car and headed to the BYU football game. Once we got there we saw Cosmo the cougar!
We waited for a while to get into the stadium but finally they let us in. Once they let us in we watched BYU warm up for the game. It was fun watching BYU throw the balls.
Before the game started we sang the BYU fight song and a woman sang the national anthem. We also saw 2 jets fly past us and fireworks blasted in front of us. Then the game started! The first quarter BYU wasn't doing so well and the Utes scored 35 or something touchdowns. It wasn't a very good starting.
Right before half time BYU scored their first touchdown. It was super exiting!
As I was sitting there a couple sitting next to us offered us some cotton candy because they were too full.
Finally it was half time and dad went in and got some churros and lemonade because I was hungry. For the rest of the game the Utes stayed at 35 points and BYU scored 4 touchdowns - 28 points! It was an exiting game but I was freezing and was looking forward for the game to be over.

Once we finally got back on the road we found a restaurant to eat dinner at. We saw a ton of BYU fans.
I got corn dogs, french fries, macaroni and cheese, and ketchup. It was delicious. Then we got back in the car and I finished Annie and watched Cinderella and I finally fell asleep.

Paragraph with Spelling Words

For my spelling homework I had to write a paragraph with all my spelling words.

In the morning dawn I crawl out of bed and pause to look out the window. I saw a hawk on my lawn with his claw caught on a bush. I quickly grab my cloth shawl and step out into the frost. I was taught it is against the law to touch a wild animal but this is an important cause. In my vault I remember a song my parents used to sing to me when I was sad, maybe I could sing that song to the hawk and he might not notice I am pulling his leg out of the bush. I get to the animal and quickly sing the song and pull his paws out of the bush. He tries to fly but he can't. I gently pick up the hawk and haul myself to the house, but then I notice mom would be very cross if I bring a wild animal into the house. But she does love animals and might want to take care of the animal so I open my house door and smell the fresh smell of spagetti and sauce. Then I see mom putting a straw into my cup. I call mom and tell her I found a hawk. She screams and glances at me and says "were you trying to trick me, because I see no hawk". I take a quick glance at my arm, I start to cry, its all my fault. I didn't notice it flew out of my arms, I hope this doesn't haunt me for the rest of my life. Then I get an idea. I run to my bedroom and draw a picture of the hawk so I can always remember him. I run downstairs and look at my picture. I laugh, I did the beak too long.
