My Spanish testimony!

In my school this year, every Friday a teacher called Señora Piñata, comes into my class and teaches Spanish!
I decided to do a blogpost on my testimony in Spanish!

The Dodgers game

 The night of July 1st 2016 was so fun. Dad got tickets for our whole family to go to the Dodgers game. Lots of people came.

First we went through security. Then we got our seats and watched the game. It was a tie game for a while. 0 to 0. Next Dad got us a Dodger Dog. It was delicious.

Then the Dodgers scored their first home run. It was very exiting. Then sadly Dodgers scored their second point but they had to take it away because they thought the ball reached home plate before the guy did. But we kept trying and got more and more points. When we had 4 points dad got us some nachos and some kettle corn. It was so good.

That kettle corn was soooooooo good!

Elle and I loved this cool baseball game. This was Elle's 2nd time and my 3rd! Oh, and I almost forgot, those were some cousins of ours and their cousin. We had great fun cheering and screaming.

 

I love this dodger game grand finale. This was one of my favorite fireworks!

 

Thank you dad for this wonderful evening daddy daughter date! We love you, dad!!!!

Trip to brentwood

 On July 7th we drove to Brentwood CA to see Gram and Papa. It was a great drive. Along the way we watched Lazarus Lives a living scripture video, Finding Nemo, and Nanny McPhee. Once we got to their house we had macaroni and cheese and we got to see Gram Rox. It was so fun! Once we finished our food we got our rooms ready for bed and had a chocolate popsicle for dessert. It was a great day!

On Friday, the next day we woke up super early because it looked like it was morning time but it was really 4am. The lights outside seemed to make it look like morning time. When we went outside to ask mom what time it was she told us to go back to bed because it was 4:00. We laid in bed for only another hour until we got board of just laying there. We got up and I finished writing in my journal from the other day. Then we played american girl dolls! When we got bored of playing we came downstairs to look for papa. He was hiding behind the trailer trying to scare us but we were too smart and found him. Then we came in to eat breakfast. I had a big boul of raisin bran crunch. Gram also read us a few stories from a really good book. Later I babysat James for 10 to 18 min. for $2. After that I went up to Papa's office and played for a while until it was time to go to the movies to see Finding Dori. Gram and Papa got us popcorn and a big goody bag to eat during the movie. It really was a good movie.

When got home I had lunch. I was also very hot outside and inside I was hot, tired, and hungry. Mom and I went to get some new binkies for James because he lost all of them. After that we came home and got to bed. Today was so much fun that the fun could last me for months.

At 7:30 the next morning I wake up and have 2 big bowls of raisen bran crunch. Then gram read me a story about a moonlight princess. Next mom, papa and I went to a couple of stores to use my gift cards while gram took Elle and Cal to see the balloon lady. First we went to Target and I got a cool game called Kerplunck. Next we went to Michals and I got a jewelry organizer to put all me necklaces, bracelets, and earrings on. Then we went to the church for me to practice the song Gethsemane with Gram Rox. I would be singing in their ward this Sunday. After that we headed over to her swimming pool to cool off. I had a really fun time. Then we went home to shower and get ready for Elle's early family party. She got lots of cool presents! Gram got her a really beautiful long skirt for Sundays. Gram Rox got her a couple of cute barbies. Finally Papa and Gram got Elle a beautiful raiser scooter! Elle loved it so much. Then for dinner Elle requested Hawaiian Haystacks.

  Then Elle and I played with her new Barbies. We even made them a cute house. Then we had dessert! We had a piece of cake and cookies with ice-cream. It was delicious! then mom braided my hair so it would be wavy for Sunday tomorrow. Then we got to bed! It was a great day!

Today was a great Sunday! When I woke up I got dressed and pretty for Church today. Then I came downstairs and had 2 bowls of applejacks. Next I picked out Gram's lucky necklace so I would get good luck on singing today! Then we headed off to church. I was very scared to sing in front of a ward I didn't know and what if I messed up on a part. When it was my turn to sing I went up and sung it perfectly! I knew Jesus helped me. Then we went to primary. I loved it altho the kids were very irreverent.

 Then we drove home. We made cards for Papa's early birthday party! We had my favorite soup for dinner and butterscotch dessert for dessert. It was some luscious food. Next we went on a walk to the park. Elle and I rode our scooters.

Then we went home and got ready for bed. Gram Rox also came and we partied while Elle and Cal were sleeping upstairs! Then finally at 9:00 I went to bed!



Today was a very fun day! First I got up and had 3 whole bowls of Apple Jacks. Yum! Then I finished my 237 page long book. As you can see it was a very good book. Elle and Calvin were exhausted most of the day because all night long Calvin was saying things like, Elle, lets play brother and brother or, if you need to go to the bathroom just tell me and I'll go with you, or ooh, lets play barbies in the dark, I'll be the dad, no lets tell stories in the bathroom! But he was just exited to have his sister in the same bed with him and wanted to talk. Another reason Calvin was so miserable all day was because he cut his toe and his toe nail is half on half off. I was almost the same when mom said we were going to Costco, my least favorite shopping place or another word for it, torture. When I heard I couldn't stay home I was miserable, but gram said if we were good shoppers was could ice-cream and churros. That pushed me to go. When we got to Costco we split up into teams. Girls against boys. Whichever team wins gets, well, um, the knowledge of winning? Girls won, well we helped the boys  so much we basically won. Then we got some mix of chocolate and vanilla ice-cream and churros. It was delicious. When we came home I planned this really fun game but Elle started annoying Calvin so it didn't work out. I was really annoyed. I went upstairs to my bedroom until mom said if I came downstairs she would teach me how to play monopoly deal. I won twice and I was 1 card away from winning but gram won! Next we went swimming. It was so fun playing with Zackery. I even learned how to dive. I thought I would never learn how to until I was 12 but I did at 9! When we came home I showered and quickly cleaned up my room. Then I played Kerplunck with Elle, Calvin, and Gram. We had German pancakes for dinner. It was a great day!

Today was one of the best days ever!
At 6:50 in the morning I am dreaming about a crazy dream until I bite my tongue and wake up. Then I go to the bathroom. When Elle comes in I am very cranky so mom tells me I should go back to bed because today would be a very good day. I am glad she did that because otherwise today wouldn't be as good as a day as it was. I slept in for a long time while Mom, Elle, and Calvin ride to the animals. Before they came home gram and I played a fast game of monopoly deal. When they home we headed over to Rockn' jump! It was like the best place ever! We had so much fun! My favorite station was when you just run around on a big trampoline. I loved it so much!

    After that gram took us to McDonalds we got a happy meal and got didget from the movie Secret Life of Pets.  In my happy meal I got a 6 pieces nuggets, yogurt, chocolate milk, and french fries. It was so good! There also was a cool play structure with a slide. We had a great time there!

Then mom took me to the pool and I learned how to dive standing up. Papa also  came over to watch me! I even dove off the diving board. Papa said it was time to go home after being at the pool for an hour or so and Gram had a surprise waiting at home for us; honey crisp apples with a popsicle. Then I took a shower and cleaned my room to make it look nice for the Elder missionaries to come over. When they came over we had lasagna for dinner and ice-cream with m&ms for dessert. Once the missionaries left we read scriptures, put Calvin down to bed and Gram and I played Monopoly deal. Gram won the first game and I won the 2nd and 3rd. It was such a fun day.

Today was such a great day. Early in the morning at 5:30 I wake up because of the loud garbage trucks. But I got back to sleep. Today was our last day at gram and papa's house. We spent most of the day with the Allens. I loved playing with the Allen kids. The are so nice. When we first got to the Allen's house we got to know each other and then went on a nature hike.

We saw a beautiful pond with a stream leading to another pond. We saw cute turtles and lots of baby ducks. We saw many cool fish and once we saw a baby turtle about 3 inches long. While we were on the walk we crossed the river by rocks and found a pretty rock. When we got back to the house we painted the rocks we found.

Then we ate lunch with a popsicle. Next Jonah and I played Checkers until the moms said we were heading to their neighborhood pool.

When we first got to the pool we had lots of fun at the big pool. The only thing I was sad about was that we weren't allowed to dive in the pool. I was practicing my diving but the lifeguard said we couldn't dive. I was real bummed out. The only thing I didn't enjoy was when the lifeguard blew his whistle and we all could to go to the kitty pool though. Elle and I went in the kitty pool and there was tons of kids. They were all screaming and doing weird things but we didn't want to leave the pool because when we left it we were all so cold. When the lifeguard finally said we could go back in we jumped back in and the big pool was so cold. The kitty pool must have been warmer. Then we decided to go. We were getting bored so we left the pool. We said goodbye to the Allens and left. When we got back to the gram and papa's house gram took us to the BFG at the Theaters. It was a great and funny movie. Calvin didn't exactly understand it but he still loved it. He was already entertained with the popcorn and yummy snacks. When we got home we were all so tired so we got to bed. When we woke up in the morning we got packed up and said goodbye to Gram, Papa, and Gram Rox. Then we left for home. I will always remember this trip!

BIRTHDAY GIRL

The day before my birthday mom and I went to Costco to pick up things for my special day. Then we got to bed quickly so we would be rested for my birthday. That night was horrible. I just couldn't get to sleep. I was tossing and turning all night, trying to find a good place to sleep till around 10pm. Then I woke up early in the morning. Elle and I talked for a while till mom said if we calmed down and helped her do some of her laundry she would let us finish the movie we were watching, Grace. So we helped mom with her laundry and she let us finish Grace. Then I opened family presents. James gave me some cute melted art earrings. Mom gave me red, white, and blue nail polishes. Elle gave me a bunch of beautiful flower earrings with a cute card.

Dad gave me a cool basketball.

 Mom and Dad gave me a Fitbit. I couldn't wait to start using all those things. After when Dad left we went and got some exercise by going to Heritage park and back. Then we went to the Red Ant Park to play some basketball. I shot a bunch off hoops.

Once we came home mom got us lunch and let us watch Zootopia. Then Sister Thunell came over to take Elle and I out to ice-cream. I got caramel ice-cream. It was so good. It took a long time to get there, but it was worth it. Then we went to the pool. It was so fun! After we quickly came home, showered, and got ready for my party. I helped wash the chairs, set the table, and sweep the leaves off the sidewalk. Then my first friend came. Then everyone started to come. It took forever for Elise to come though. We had pizza and watermelon for dinner.

 We also played a get to know you game. Next we opened presents. Mikayla got me a bird house, some paints, a book called Black Beauty, and some paint brushes.

 Maddi got me starburst minis and a Michels gift card.

 Brooklyn got me a coloring book with some cool pencils.

Elena got me a friendship neckless that was matching with hers and a friendship bracelet kit.

 Elise forgot her present and she said she would bring it later. Ani also called. All my friends were very interested.

  Then we headed off to the park. We had a very fun time playing backwards hide and seek.

 Then we came home to have our bonfire and roast smores.

  I made a pretty good smore.

Dad also told scary stories. Too scary though. Half of my friends ran into the house. Then we came in and we painted nails and watched High school musical. Elise also gave me my present. She got me skittles, bubble yum, and a cute jacket.

 It had been a great birthday!

Saturday morning with the Start kids

Saturday was an amazing day. We had the Start kids over because their parents needed a babysitter. Mom and Dad had lots of fun things planned. First Dad took us to Rolling pin. I got a maple bar donut. Next we went to the church and played basketball. It was Dad and I against Carson and Big Calvin. We won altho, dad scored most of the points. I only scored 4, dad scored the rest. The score was 20 to 9. Lastly we came home, picked up mama, and headed to the sandhill. On the way there we played fun games and told stories. Climbing the sandhill wasn't my favorite part but I had fun. My favorite part was going down it. On the way home we told jokes and stories. It was a fun morning.

The sand hill was a BIG hit. For some reason Calvin Start's eyes were closed in every picture though! 

Fathers day

A few days ago was fathers day! It was a great day. My present to dad was a coupon book and a letter about the things I love about him. We went to church that day. In sacerment we got to listen to some good speakers who spoke about fathers. We also had dinner at Boppi and Grandpa Al's house. We had try tip, baked potatoes, ramen salad(the only kind I like), and for dessert, apple and banana cream pie. It was so good. We also picked raspberries from Grandpa Al's garden and jumped his trampoline.

Some of the coupons I gave daddy were a 10 min. foot massage, a 10 min. head massage, a breakfast made by Madilyn, folding his clothes for a day, and to not fight with my siblings for a whole day!

Some of the things I love about my dad

Disneyland

My piano teacher gave me a song called cannon in d. When my dad noticed I was playing his favorite song he told me he would take me to Disneyland if I mastered it. I worked super hard on it and finally one day I mastered it. We planned out when we were going to go and he told me the only day he had available was Tuesday. I was a little sad because that was my first activity days I would have since the ward boundary changes. We were going to have a pool party. But we were going to have a much funner time at Disneyland. On Monday night daddy said he was going to take me to a hotel so we could get to Disneyland early. That night we left for the hotel. We had a great drive there. I read my book most of the time. When we got to the hotel we unpacked our stuff and got to bed quickly so we could get up early in the morning.

The next morning we got up at 5:50 and quickly hurried downstairs for breakfast. Then after we ate our breakfast we went back to our room to pack up for Disneyland.

We drove to Disneyland quickly and got a great parking spot. We were going to try out California Adventure first then around 11am we would go to Disneyland witch was just across the street. When we finally got into CA Adventure my I was amazed. They had great rides.

They first ride we went on was Soarin' California. 

It was so fun. You would sit in seats and soar over cool places in CA. You would see a big screen and it would seem like you are really soaring over CA but you are really not.
We liked this cool waterfall on our way to the roller coasters.

Then we went on Screamin'. It was so fun and scary at the same time. I really was Screaming on Screamin'.

We went on it twice. Then we went back to Soarin' CA with our fast passes. We got on the ride fast. It was so fun. Then we decided to go on the swings. It was so fun that we went on it 3 times until dad said on the third time it was our last. then we went to the Art Animation so we could learn how to draw Disney characters. We drew the cat from Alice in wonderland.

Next we got some treats from the bakery Jolly Holiday.They had delicious foods there. 

We got a raspberry macaroon and a Matterhorn macaroon. I liked the raspberry one better. But they were both delicious.

                                                    

                                                   

Then we went on the swings 3 times.

No hands!!!

 Thunder mountain. It was super fun. I loved the twists and turns. After that we got some food. I got a corn dog with some Doritos. I was sad because my corn dog was almost gone.

Then the next ride we went on was splash mountain. I had a bit of a stomach ache from the corn dog but I was fine.

After that we used our fast pass to go on the Thunder mountain. What a great ride.

After that we got a fast pass for Indiana Jones and went back to CA Adventure. We were going to get a fast pass for racers but the we released we already had one so we went on racers. It was awesome!

Next we went on the swings 2 more times.

We also went to the art animation again and drew captain hook from Peter Pan. It was so fun. Then we went back to Disneyland for dinner. We had french fries, Chicken nuggets, Apple sauce, a hamburger, and some drinks. It was delicious.

Then we went to find a spot for the fireworks.

When the fireworks were supposed to start a announcement came on saying the fireworks were canceled because there was too much wind in the sky for fireworks so we used our fast passes to go on Indiana Jones. I didn't like it that much because it was too jerky. I'm not a big fan of Jerky rides. I like smooth ones. Then we went to check out Space mountain. It was a 2 hour wait and we only had 45 min. until Disneyland closed. So we went to Thunder mountain. It was shut down. Finally we went to Splash mountain and it was a 55 min wait. By the time we got to Splash mountain our feet felt like heavy borders and we decided to leave for home. So we got on the tram to leave.

When we got into the car we felt so much better and very tired. I fell asleep in the car. We had a great day.
