Beach day on President's day

Hurray, no school!! Near 8:00 we started some cool forts at home. 9:00am We piled up in the car and started our long drive to the sandy, wet, and fun Carpinteria beach. We brought Kaitlyn, Brittany, and Boppi along with us. It was a long drive. Good thing I brought THE BIG GREEN BOOK OF BEGINNER BOOKS, BY DR.SEUSS. Kaitlyn read all the stories on the drive. We FINALLY got there. It took us about 10 minuets to set up, get my sunscreen on, and pull up my wetsuit.
And wow I was steaming hot in that wetsuit but finally I got into the water and goodness gracious it was perfect. I wasn't at all cold and I felt like the water was my shower water, I wasn't too cold, and it wasn't too hot, it was perfect.

I was glad mom got me to come in. 2 in a half quarters of the beach trip I was in the water. The rest of the time Elle and I were building a kitty pool. I have to confess the pool was pretty cool. I took a while to build the pool and we did not even get to play in it because when we were almost finished the tide came higher and knocked the whole pool down!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As you can see the water level in the pool is getting smaller and smaller and smaller. It was so impossible to fix it because by the time we were finished it would be midnight.
Ha,Ha
Yeah, and look at Ava's face!!!!
Who knows what she's thinking, she looks confused!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But, I wasn't too sad about the wreaked pool because I found a friend who helped me find swirly seashells. She and I went deeper and deeper into the water and found more and more shells. Later Ava came looking for us and joined us looking for shells. Too bad Elle wasn't there. I would be funner if she were here! But she refused to go into the water.

But what ever because we left just a few min. after we started finding the shells.
