DECEMBER 26
Today was more testing our patience then adventure. We woke up at 7 and packed last minute items and before we knew it we were on the road to Long Beach. After 2 hrs. of sitting on the car we arrived at Long Beach and started unloading the car. Then at 10 we "set sail."
After 7 hrs. of being on the boat, and yes, it did include an emptying of mom's stomach- puked, we arrived in Catalina! I was having weird stomach aches and all my smiles today were fake!
I wasn't feeling good at all and when dad motored us to the dock he went to go get Jermey and Tanna's family, but the motor stopped running so they hand paddled back to the boat to get some rows! I was sitting on a bench, clutching my stomach, waiting for the never-ending pain to go away! Thats why I'm not in the cute picture. If I was it wouldn't be so cute!
Tis the season to be joyful, but not for me! The stomach pains would not go away! I was more used to them since they've been going on for days!

Oatmeal breakfast with my siblings!
Leaving Cat Harbor! It looks like we are in for an adventure, but we weren't prepared enough! There was crazy rough seas and we had to go or else our boat wouldn't be safe and we would have to sleep through the torture we were facing. Mom said it was worse than childbirth! We of course didn't want to remember what we went through today with a sink full of puke, and 10 foot waves so we have no pictures!
We survived!
Finally we reached Cat Harbor and it was almost worth the crazy weather!
We did some fun hikes and were all smiles and best of all, I had no stomach aches!
Sorry, ignore the video sign! I can't get videos to work on my blog! Some people were filming a movie on the island and left 14 buffalo on the island!
