For my spelling homework I had to write a paragraph with all my spelling words.
In the morning dawn I crawl out of bed and pause to look out the window. I saw a hawk on my lawn with his claw caught on a bush. I quickly grab my cloth shawl and step out into the frost. I was taught it is against the law to touch a wild animal but this is an important cause. In my vault I remember a song my parents used to sing to me when I was sad, maybe I could sing that song to the hawk and he might not notice I am pulling his leg out of the bush. I get to the animal and quickly sing the song and pull his paws out of the bush. He tries to fly but he can't. I gently pick up the hawk and haul myself to the house, but then I notice mom would be very cross if I bring a wild animal into the house. But she does love animals and might want to take care of the animal so I open my house door and smell the fresh smell of spagetti and sauce. Then I see mom putting a straw into my cup. I call mom and tell her I found a hawk. She screams and glances at me and says "were you trying to trick me, because I see no hawk". I take a quick glance at my arm, I start to cry, its all my fault. I didn't notice it flew out of my arms, I hope this doesn't haunt me for the rest of my life. Then I get an idea. I run to my bedroom and draw a picture of the hawk so I can always remember him. I run downstairs and look at my picture. I laugh, I did the beak too long.
Great story, very creative! Love you sweetie
