After days and days of searching for a place to stay for a short weekend getaway, my dad finally found a place at Pismo beach! At first it was a secret to where we were going, but after 2 hrs. of driving we finally found out! We were staying at a nice hotel over looking a beautiful beach! There was also a crystal clear pool! When we arrived at the place we checked in and realized we were a hr. early so we headed down to the beach!
There were millions of beautiful shells we couldn't decide on our favorites! After hrs. of begging mom finally got us to take a sister picture!
The water was super warm and I was dying to go boogie boarding for the water was perfect for it! On the way up Elle stole Calvin's clam shell (or so he says) and he had a royal temper tantrum! The shell was gone by now and Calvin repeated over and over " My shell is gone forever and its all because of you" It took us a long time to calm him down but we finally got him to smile once Elle and I decided gave up our prettiest shell we found. This is us, sitting on the road trying to calm Calvin down!!
When we saw our hotel room it was like the royal tantrum never happened and we left for the pool with beds full of foot marks and the T.V. blasting with the channels changing every second. It was freezing when we got to the pool and we were so relaxed sitting in the warm, bubbled Jacuzzi. We decided to feel the pool and fell in love with it immediately! It was as warm as the Hot Tub and we had such a fun time taking funny pictures on mom's phone!

I came back with green hair and luckily called the shower before Elle of Cal could ask! Then we decided to explore the game area! Dad and I played a competitive game of checkers but of course dad won!
We also played some ping-pong, golf, latter ball, badminton, and cornhole along with a fun game of hide-and-go-seek! We were all starving by the time we came home so we voted on going to a BBQ restaurant! I got tri-tip packed with the restaurant's famous BBQ sauce! Sadly mom got no pictures, so sad!! For dessert dad and mom treated us with a really good ice-cream at an amazing ice-cream shop!
I got Carmel X-plosion with a sugar waffle ice-cream come! It was delicious! James learned to say "cheese" whenever we take a picture! So cute! Don't want to miss this cute moment either!!

Once we were all full we came home and got into our warm pjs and played some fun card games and finally learned how to play Lattice (an awesome board game I got for my birthday)! After a long day piled with fun I went to sleep at like 8:45 and was asleep within seconds!! That morning I slept in late cuz that bed was just so comfortable and at home I don't have a very comfortable bed so it was a huge treat for me! This was our bedroom. I got the bed that James is sitting on. Calvin and Elle shared the other bed.
Since Elle wanted to go to bed early last night I taught her to play lattice this morning, she immediately fell in love with it! Me, trying to be as patient as possible with her thousands of questions!
We headed down to get breakfast at the hotel! I had some CoCo Crispies (which I never get), strawberries, a delicious blueberry muffin, and two waffles! BEST BREAKFAST EVER! We heard that the beach was known for its sand dollars so we decided to head down and check it out! Lots of seagulls were there pecking at the sand dollars making it very rare to find any full ones! We found 4 alive sand dollars just sitting on the damp sand and five full ones, 2 which were smaller than a penny, and 47 broken sand dollars, thanks to the seagulls! We went really far hoping to find more but we had no luck! Unfortunately we forgot our jackets so it took forever to get back and I was as cold as ice dripping with ocean water! I was in the ice cold water looking for sand dollars there and of course had no luck so that made it even worse! I felt so cold I literally started to cry and was like that the rest of the way! On the way back dad took this video and I thought it would be cute to post!!
I was really grumpy until we decided to spend some time heating up in the warm Hot Tub! Then I was really happy the rest of the day! Us kids got dressed and were ready for church before mom and dad could take off their shoes so they allowed us to go down to the game area! We practiced latter ball so we could we really good for the family reunion and Cal and I played some chess! We played hide-and-go-seek for a while until dad told us we were leaving for church! We only stayed for sacerment and then left!! After about 30 mins. of driving we stopped and had lunch at a place dad used to go when he was a kid, he got a hamburger and said it was better then in-n-out so I recommend that place if you ever go to Pismo! We also had "The cutest smile contest"
Not to try to be like those crazy youtube people, always asking to leave a comments but I haven't gotten any comments so if you can, just tell me who looks the cutest and I hate when people are like "You guys all win" so don't do that, please!!

After we were all full we headed back to Camarillo. It made me sad to leave our nice hotel, the cool weather, and the comfortable bed but I was happy to be HOME!
